I didn’t take any pills, wraps, weird shakes, and random junk out there!! What worked for me was (still is) eating real foods and watching the portion sizes I ate.
I’ve struggled with my weight for my entire life. A few years ago, I starved myself and it was terrible and I didn’t see much change in my weight. When I moved, I tried out a well-known weight loss company that sells shakes, pills, and teas. That was the WORST experience I had. In the first three days, I lost 5 pounds. Great, right? Nope. I’ll explain. I was on the products for close to 1 month, but then I decided that I needed to lose weight a healthier way. Anyways, for three weeks after stopping those products, I COULD NOT EAT ANYTHING WITHOUT ABDOMINAL PAIN. I was curled up in the fetal position every time I ate food– it didn’t matter how little I ate or what I ate. At that time, I really thought I had screwed up my body for the rest of my life. Luckily, I didn’t do life-long damage. Thinking back, had I taken those products for a longer time, it’s very possible that I could have done major damage.
I think it’s important for me to mention this because there are many people who use that product. I get it. The products are packaged nicely and the company has a large following. It seems like some people do see results, but how healthy is it truly for our bodies? If I was in such pain from something that’s supposed to be “good” for my body, there’s a problem there and it tells you that it probably isn’t good for you.
Now, I don’t bash anyone for using those products or anyone who sells those products (or similar products), but I want you to be more aware of what you are putting into your bodies! To add, I GAINED back the weight I lost on those products AND more…
I eat regular foods and I see tremendous changes. If I can do this, you can too. I really believe that. Clean eating & working out. That’s the key to losing weight. The secret is out :p
