First pic around 2012; at 213 lbs. Second pic from November 2015 at 168. Lost weight very, very slowly, with more effort put in since July 2015! I weighed around 190 for a good 2 years until I finally saw some real progress this past year after quitting topical steroids that was originally used to treat mild eczema (which explains why my skin is bad in the second pic! I’m 9 months in now and still healing)
I currently weigh around 173-175, but this is the longest I’ve stayed under 180 in a long time. I think my body loses like 15 pounds, gains 5 back, then stays at that weight for a couple months, then loses another 10, and so on. Which, I’ve heard that if you lose weight too fast your body will try to pack it back on because it gets used to your current weight, which is why it’s good to lose and keep it off for a couple months and then lose some more (though I’m not sure how credible that is, but I believe I heard it on a TEDTalk in my Psychobiology class last semester).
My diet (lifestyle!) mostly consists of fresh vegetable juices that I make about 2-3 times a day and good fats like avocado, fish, and hemp protein. I also eat lots of organic apples.
my goal is to get in the 150s, which I haven’t weighed since I was 12 (funnily enough, the age I started topical steroids). Any questions or if anyone would like some juice recipes feel free to message me!
