I’m 5'6 and started in earnest at 201 lbs. I guess my truer starting weight was around 210 - that’s what I was at after I had my baby. I turned 30 late June 2015 and started working out and eating better to manage/resolve various physical and mental blocks to my general wellness and health. I was frustrated, constantly getting sick and felt helpless about all of it. I made a decision, stuck to it, and have remained accountable to myself (Fitbit and MFP) and to a community (Tumblr), the latter having had a huge affect toward my successes. The weight came off in three months and I’ve kept it off until now. I’ve recently lost a few pounds and I hover at 178lb-181lbs. Submitting now to celebrate and also to r commit I think I have just a little more work to do to solidify good habits and maybe not focus so much on this as time goes on.
