ph0sphenez: To the boy who kicked a can at me and...

ph0sphenez:

To the boy who kicked a can at me and yelled “Almost hit the fat girl!” down the hallway in middle school, look at me now. I’m happy and healthy, which is something I never thought I’d accomplish.

To the boy in 7th grade who asked me “Do you beep when you back up? Because like, you’re so big.” I can only wish to tell you how much that still resonates with me, almost 8 years later.

To my doctor that once suggested that I go to overeaters anonymous, I am off your medication after being on it for 7 years and I am the healthiest I have ever been.

And to anybody else that has called me crazy, looked at me and thought “why is she lifting? Doesn’t she know it’ll make her look like a man?”, looked at what I was eating and said “What the hell is that rabbit food?” or whatever else,

Look at me now. Don’t ever call me crazy and don’t ever call my lifestyle ‘strict’. Don’t ever look at me as if I have five heads when I say I get up at 5 am to be at the gym by 6 am. Don’t look at me as if I am beneath you because I choose to better myself in more ways than one.

I have come so far and have so much more to go. Do not doubt me because I sure as hell would be glad to prove you wrong.
