convo between my instructor and I during Krav Maga class today:
“how’s your fitness thing going? you look thinner every time I see you”
“…stop. don’t lie to me.”
“what? I’m not lying. Your legs, your stomach. Toned. Stronger.”
“I haven’t lost any weight in a long time. nothing.”
“yes you have, it’s turning into muscle”
“no, I’m still bouncing between 190 and 200lbs. I can’t seem to break through.”
“you will. I remember what you looked like when you first started - huge difference. Literally.
I see it, even if you don’t.”
