One year’s difference.
The picture on the left was a big step in my journey to weight loss. I had lost my first 50 pounds and I decided I was going to rock a bikini in Florida no matter how self-conscious I was feeling. I made @greyprincess89 take probably 20 pictures until I finally settled on this one.
The picture on the right is after I’ve lost 70 more pounds for a total loss (so far) of 120 pounds. I have loose skin and stretch marks. But I’m still okay wearing a bikini on the beach now that I’m back in Florida, this time living here. This top is now huge (I would probably fall out of it if I actually wore it on the beach), but it’s a great reminder of how hard I’ve worked to come this far.
Love yourself through every step of your journey. I still don’t look back on that picture and feel repulsed by the fact that I was bigger.
