Would ya believe me if I told you that I’m exactly 4 years older now than I was in the picture on the left?š¤ Oftentimes when looking at before & after pictures it’s easy to hone in on the physical bodily transformation that has occurred, but what often gets overlooked is what, in my opinion, the cornerstone of any weightloss or fitness joirney should entail, and that’s working towards becoming a healthier version of yourself in all aspects of the word. The girl on the left was extremely unhealthy in all areas of her life. I was exceptionally lazy & never worked out; I ate nothing but processed “junk” food & would force myself to throw up afterwards, not because I thought it would help me lose weight, but because I had deep, underlying emotional issues and purging helped to suppress those negative feelings; I was extremely judgmental towards other people because I didn’t feel good about myself; ultimately I didn’t treat myself or my body with any respect. I am now infinitely healthier physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, and I continue to strive towards improving all of those areas of my life. Health is an ongoing journey, and one that I believe that everyone should prioritize, whether you “do the fitness thing” or not, because being healthy feels really damn good, and everyone deserves to lead a healthy, happy, vibrant life!
