This just goes to show that the number on the scale does not define your progress. I’ve been focusing on eating healthier and not going on an eating binge when I’m bored and want something to do. I quit drinking alcohol because I realized I was using that to distract myself from my real problems. I do HIIT workouts and strength training and some days I just get on a treadmill and run to clear my head. As a bonus to getting healthier my anxiety has all but disappeared, working out really does help.
