In January 2016, I decided to take control of my health. I was plagued with migraines, acid reflux, and fatigue. At 27, I knew it was time for a change. My friend convinced me to try a 10-week kickboxing and resistance training program at a local gym that also provided meal plan guidance. After completing my 10 weeks and losing 15 lbs, I was hooked! A year later, I still wake up every morning (ok, most mornings) before work and head the gym. I’ve cleaned up my eating habits and the acid reflux and migraines have almost disappeared. Now that a wedding is in my future, I have even more incentive to reach my fitness goals! 💍 I still have a ways to go, so feel free to follow me on this journey.
