tiniertim: When I found myself in this same kitchen that I...

tiniertim:

When I found myself in this same kitchen that I stood and took this picture in over 6 years ago, it brought back a flood of memories. When I was 440 pounds, I used to hold my arms in front of me in pictures because I felt like it somehow hid my obesity. But the only one I was tricking in this was myself. For years, I hid myself behind forearms and other lies I’d tell myself.

Like any addiction, with emotional eating and binging, admitting to yourself that things are out of control is a critical step in overcoming it.

You don’t have to hide behind your forearms. As the good book says, the truth will make you free.

Here is are three truths for you for this #TransformationTuesday:
1. If you don’t like where your life or your weight is right now, it’s not too late. It’s never too late.
2. You have all the power, time and money you need to start down the path to whatever you’re trying to become right now. Not Tomorrow. Not 1/1. NOW.
3. The only one that can truly hold you back from becoming your best self is you.

Are you ready to live in the truth? If you don’t know where to start, check out my course on Overcoming Emotional Eating and Self Sabotage (link in profile). (at Gold’s Gym SoCal)
