I can’t tell you how many times I looked in the mirror and thought that I would be fat forever. That I should just get used to how I looked because that was it, forever. Losing weight was just something I could never accomplish. But I think for me it was just about finding the right motivation. Last year I ended a 4 year relationship that made me miserable with a man that was selfish and fed into my low self esteem. I knew my life needed a change. I needed to find myself again. And I did. Changing the habits I had held for so long was not easy. I had been turning to food when I had problems for such a long time. So I made little gradual changes. More veggies, less junk food. And I eventually joined a gym as well. I’m currently just past the halfway point in my weight loss journey and I’m excited about reaching my goal. I can’t wait to be healthy and fit again!
