I would say that I was scared to post this, but in all honesty I’m proud to post this. Never in my life did I actually think I would have the courage to try on a bikini let alone buy one.
The first picture was taken 4 years ago yesterday on a cruise I went on with my family. I wasn’t my heaviest here but it’s the only shot I have of me full body in a bathing suit. ( I knew all the angles and how to ensure I looked smaller than I actually was, looking back on my journey I regret that the most.. I wish I had better pictures to show where I’ve come from.)
And the picture on the right was taken today, I just got my highwaisted bottoms in the mail.
Here’s to the new me, who wants to make a celebratory trip to the beach soon? ☺️
