Recently I decided that I was going to stop logging my food. This is a big step in my fitness journey because I have finally allowed myself to be comfortable in my own healthy choices! Losing weight has been such a journey for me and I constantly find new ways to challenge myself physically and mentally! But the most important thing is to be comfortable in living healthy and trust your body. So heres a progress picture to celebrate trusting yourself and my almost 3 year fitness anniversary!!

Just another progress photo! The picture to the left is the heaviest I’ve ever been, probably like 2 years ago. I didn’t start my change until about 4-5 months ago. Yesterday was the first time I’ve ever felt totally comfortable in a bikini and it was a pretty proud moment for me. I still have rolls and I’m definitely still working but I felt so confident yesterday for the first time at the beach instead of always wanting to cover up myself. I’ve lost about 30ish pounds in the past 4-5 months. Feel free to ask me any questions!
Hard work pays off. 💪🏾
Still have a long way to go, but I’m so proud of the progress I’ve made.
I’ve always hated my original passport. I remember going down to Browns Bay when I was 16 thinking I looked AMAZING. I had my photo taken and was feeling super awesome until I opened the tiny envelope that held my strip of photos to see a shiny and very round me. Okay so the fact I wasn’t allowed to smile made it significantly worse - but still. It sucked.
Ever since then I have always imagined that my next passport photo would be amazing and I’d be super skinny and not shiny and the passport office would call me up thinking I was trying to commit identity theft because how on earth did that ugly duckling end up looking like this!?
Well it hasn’t been the case - I was not impressed when my brother decided to get married in Rarotonga before I had reached my goal weight and meant I’d need to renew my passport before I looked like a bombshell - but I’m still pretty happy with the difference in my photos, nine years on we have a less shiny 25 year old Jordan with a lot less face, clearer skin and significantly better hair and make up skills 😅 also my neutral expression has changed from convicted felon to deer in headlights.
Long story short, passport photos will never be wonderful but this will do me just fine for the next 10 years! ✈️🌏👌🏻

I started my journey in February, after months of avoiding the scale. When I finally stepped on the scale I realized what I had already feared… I was 7 lbs over my heaviest weight. This is what motivated me to Kickstart my healthier lifestyle. In that first month I had lost 9 lbs! I am now down 20 lbs. I have implimented exercise into my daily routine, and stopped drinking my calories. I choose healthier options, and smaller portions. I know I have a long way to go, but it’s comforting to know the hard part is over and that I can do it! I encourage anyone who questions themselves to just try! Not tomorrow, or Monday do it now
new measurements today :D
I’m 5 foot 5 & my high weight was 197 on sept 2015 but these 192 lbs pics from jan 2015 were the closest befores & measurements to my high weight! I was a lot more active in these befores (biking an hour a day)compared to my high weight (sedentary for 3 months) so I know I’ve lost even more inches. Took measurements today because I’ll be focusing more on those than weight loss for a little while. Sorry for posting so many of these, it just blows my mind every time because I felt the same at both weights but look pretty different when I put pictures side by side.
p.s. my shoulders are looking kind of cute today :}.
I know I’ve been going on and on about this diet change and the elimination diet and I’m hoping most of you are getting benefit from it, or at least enjoy reading it. I apologize (sort of) to those of you who are bored with it, but I think it’s important so I’m going to keep talking about it.
Here’s a quick recap in case you don’t know.
- I was feeling sick. Like… All.the.time
- doctors did the Bla-bla-bla we can’t find anything wrong. Maybe it’s cuz you’re fat.
- I didn’t feel very accomplished with my workouts.
- hit breaking point
- saw naturopath for food sensitivity blood test
- came back with A LOT of results. Dairy - eggs- gliadin (gluten) - nuts - kidney beans - corn - yeast - rice - oranges etc.
-swear.
- determine eliminating ALL of these things will help repair GI tract.
-swear.
- go on elimination diet for 3 weeks.
-swear
-swear
-cry
-feel better. Now you’re all caught up. So guess what! Today I did my monthly measurements and progress pics. I FEEL AMAZING! This is 1 month!
You should note that I don’t expect these results all the time and that most of the loss is bloating but dang I’m excited! I can’t believe the difference food makes (everybody says that but it’s honestly true!)
Again, thanks to everyone who supports me

Not nearly as impressive as my side progress pictures, but still some progress. A little bit over half way to my goal.
Another before & during because I’m slacking motivation
Why is loosing weight one of the hardest things I’ve ever done? But gaining 100 pounds in a year was easy. Smh
also… is this real life?! holy shit. i’m really starting to notice differences now. it’s been a full year since i changed my dieting/exercise/life around. and i’ve shed 25 pounds and learned a LOT about myself. i wanted to be at 40 pounds by now… but i’m in no rush. it’s not an overnight change, it’s a lifestyle change. so i’m happy plateauing my little booty off at 25 pounds if that’s what my body needs.
talk about a transformation, huh?!
(and dat eyebrow transformation doeeee!!!!! LOL)

On the left ( june 2014) 82kg / 180+ lbs
On the right now ( avril 2016) 67kg/ 147.7 lbs
On the left This is me before starting my new healthy life and weightwatchers, i was already working out a little but had junk food a lot and was not happy about how i was looking at all….
On the right it’s me after hitting my goal weight ( 67kg) and losing 15kg /33lbs and before starting the BBG.
Sometimes when I am down and focusing only on the bad things, I look at this and I feel better! After hitting my goal weight, I knew that i needed another goal, a non scale one to avoid being obsessed about losing more weight just for the number on the scale.I already did it before and i end up gaining all the kg back!
That’s why I decided to join the BBG community ( you can also join other program, its exists plenty of it..) to have another goal, a healthy one, work out, gain muscle and F*ck the scale! I feel better because not having any goal can drive me crazy! It’s very important to have non scale victory!!!
