HOLY MOLY. So I was just looking at old pictures and it really hit me just how far I’ve come since gaining 20 lbs my super senior year. I didn’t see it then, but I was definitely, as my mom called it; thick as a milkshake. There is nothing wrong with that body type at all, but it was not my natural shape. I got there through binge drinking 5 nights a week and copious amounts of fast food and skipping workouts for an entire year. I’m honestly surprised I didn’t gain more weight, but at 5'2" and 142lbs, I was definitely overweight and unhealthy. Fast forward a year and a half after graduating college and here I am, 115lbs of muscle, a half marathon under my belt and a thousand times healthier and happier.
