I am REALLY reluctant in sharing my transformation story, but it is my hope that it will motivate others to start their own journey. So here goes! I have always been heavy ever since I can remember. Although I had been interested in health and fitness for a long time, I never actually did anything about my weight. It wasn’t until a couple of years back I had officially become past the point of being tired of the way that I looked and felt. So I started making changes to my diet and began trying different workouts. Sadly shortly after starting this new lifestyle I sustained severe injuries to my right leg from an atv accident. The damage to my leg was so bad that the doctors said if I wasn’t as young as I was they would not have tried to save it. I knew there would be a lot of pain and healing to come, but most importantly I still had my life. After many surgeries and an ex fix later I finally had a frame/halo on my leg that I was able to walk with!! So once again I began my journey with walking and my good ol handy walker! I worked hard at it and eventually worked my way to walking on my treadmill and doing modified workouts here and there. I was proud of all that I had accomplished, but at this point I still wasn’t happy with how I looked. Looking at all the progressions I was able to make made me realize that I had so much more to achieve and changes that I wanted to make with my body. This is when I met my awesome coach Lacie, who introduced me to the 21 Day Fix and Shakeology!! She included me in her accountability challenge group which had a group of amazing women, that together we all motivated one another and kept eachother accountable! So I pressed play and did the workouts, drank my Shakeology, and stayed interactive with the group. Within my first week I had dropped 7 pounds! I continued to get stronger everyday and used modifications less and less!
Fast forward to today I am still on my journey, but I am proud to say that I am the smallest that I’ve ever been and I am never looking back!! :D

Now don’t get me wrong, there were plenty of times that I fell off track. However I had my challenge group that would remind to remember why I started and to jump back in!! :)
