One thing I have learned is that everybody’s weight loss journey is so different, and very rarely is it anywhere near perfect. I may not be at my personal best, but I’ve learned to view that as a challenge rather than a set back. I have one month until my first half marathon and I will be focusing on the whole 30 (essentially paleo), running 5 days a week, cycling 3 days a week, various other circuit/strength training work outs, and live completely sober. Sometimes the end seems out of reach but looking back at the distance that you have traveled is just as crucial as attaining the finish line.
