This is the point in my marathon training where I start having doubts about everything! Am I training enough? Am I eating the right stuff to fuel and recover? Are the aches and pains normal? Am I going to make it 26.2 miles??? But then I have to tell my brain to stop freaking out and tell it to remember that I’m doing just fine and that I will make it because I don’t quit and give up anymore! If someone would’ve told me 6 years ago that I’d be here today training for my second marathon and running my 14th and 15th half marathons next weekend, I’d call bullshit! The only running I did years ago was to the bar! 🍻 Today I run and train and go to the bar after lmao! (Somethings never change!) But if there’s anyone out there having doubts about anything, I cannot stress enough to never give up on yourself! Learn to love who you are, learn to love the good and the bad, and accept that you’ll never be perfect but that you can always do something to become a better version of yourself each day! Look for inspiration within yourself and if not find some pretty amazing people who inspire you everyday!
