Height: 5'8"
Starting weight: 192lbs
Current weight: 172lbs
Goal weight: 140lbs-150lbs (not sure yet)
It took me just under 4 months to lose 20 pounds. I started using MyFitnessPal app to track my calories, as well as joining the forums for suggestions and support. The past couple of weeks, I have stopped logging and I am still seeing weight loss.
As for exercise, I started walking several times a week. I also joined a kickboxing class which I was going to 2-3 times a week for about 6 weeks before I had to stop for financial reasons. However, I plan on resuming in the future because it’s fun and great for toning. Don’t do exercises that you hate. Try to find something you love so you’re happy and can keep it up.
Keep moving and try each and every day to make good choices! :) Definitely take progress pictures. I didn’t really see a difference until I checked the pictures, and I couldn’t be happier right now.
Everyone who posts here has been a huge inspiration to me. I check in every couple of days to see all of the amazing, inspiring progress you have all made. Thanks to everyone who posted and I hope my picture can help someone else!
