I happen to be at my old high school tonight (right now!) at a basketball scrimmage for my brother.

Of course, my senior year portrait is hanging in the hallways for all to see. I actually hate that this is the photo I get remembered by, because I thought that they’d be using my professional senior photos, and I looked like crap that day, on purpose, because I assumed they’d never be seen.

But: look at the difference. My high school senior year photo on the left, my current tumblr icon on the right. Sometimes I forget, but I’m easily 60lbs lighter than I was in high school. There aren’t a lot of photos of me during this time (there aren’t a lot of photos of me at all…) and it’s easy for me to think that I look the same as I always have.

This is serious motivation/inspiration for me.
