I am not at my lowest weight yet. I gained weight last year, and have lost 25 pounds of it so far over this summer. I still have another 10 pounds to lose to be at my lowest, but honestly I feel amazing! I have been losing weight since 2009, and I have started and stopped so many times! It’s truly a journey!

My name is Emily and I have to be honest when I say I was always losing the weight to be accepted and loved…by a man. Any man! I was broken up this year because I had gained nearly 40 pounds. My worst flipping fear! No joke! That type of rejection because of my weight was my BIGGEST fear in life!!! BUT now I have faced that fear, I have come out SO MUCH STRONGER! For the first time since 2009 I eat healthy and work out because I love it! I have no desire for love from any man anymore, and only want to give love to myself! It’s been so liberating! I am so proud of the woman I am today! It’s ok if you want to lose weight for someone else, but I hope someday you can learn what it feels like to truly do it for you! Much love! -Em

*I currently eat a plant based/gluten free diet most days (I don't label myself a vegan/vegetarian because I am not), I lift 2-3x per week, and try for cardio 3x a week currently*
