I’m 5'5.
First pic (left): Was taken August 22nd.
Second pic: Was taken September 22nd. In the first picture I’m about 160-165lbs.
I wouldn’t have known my weight if I didn’t have a doctors appointment right before I came back out to school. I currently do not know how much I weigh because the scale scares me.
Today (Sept. 22) is my birthday and a month ago I promised myself that I would work out five days a week and see how far I got on my birthday. I remember taking the ‘Before’ photo (left) and being grossed out and embarrassed looking at it. After I got done working out this morning I was dreading having to take a comparison pic but I’m glad I did!
The difference between the two pictures is not huge but I’m glad there is some difference at all. I was beginning to feel like I wasn’t making any progress. (Though I’m sure there would be more progress if I really changed my eating habits >.<) I’m going to keep pushing and continue to work out five days a week.
I recently changed up work out routine where one week I do cardio (typically run) for 15min and then spend the last 45min toning a specific part of myself. The following week I run for 30min and the last 15-30min are spent toning.
I am proud of myself and working out and getting healthier has been the best present I have given myself.
