I am literally in awe right now. I sort of want to cry!
It’s been a little over two months since I officially started my journey and started the gym. This is only a 20-25 lb difference! I’m down 28 lbs total since mid-May, which was when I stopped drinking soda and eating fast food. I cannot even believe myself! This is what healthy eating and exercising for two months does. Oh my gosh I want to cry I am so happy!
I decided to start doing my weigh-in/measurements differently, which is why I’m doing this on a random day even though I just did this last week. I am going to weigh/measure myself on the 1st and 15th of every month, and then pictures on the 1st. That way the timing is more even and spread out.
As for inches, I’m about six down since my last measurement! I’ll post specifics later on my progress page. I just wanted to share this with everyone now!
Also, in case nobody knew, I actually have scoliosis. My doctors and I weren’t aware of this until I was 16 and in a really bad car accident and had to get xrays on my spine. They said I had it my entire life (obvs), but how could other doctors not know? I think I now know that the answer is because of how heavy I was as a kid. The more weight I lose, the easier I see the curve in my spine (really just how uneven my hips are), especially when I’m wearing better fitting clothes. Maybe I can actually start going to the chiropractor again and it’ll actually help this time :)
