12/2014 to now

This all started when my boyfriend of 5 years purposed to me. He loved me exactly how I was and never said anything about my weight. I didn’t love myself and that needed to change. I knew I wanted to walk down that isle feeling beautiful and being my best self for me and my Mario ( fiancΓ©).
I never worked out and had horrible eating habits. Fast food was my life. I am nurse at a urgent care clinic and worked nights so after work I would swing by Wendy’s or McDonald for a late dinner. I didn’t this 5+ times a week.
I started off slow with my weight loss. I started making my own meals. Made it a goal to have dinner before 7 pm and not eat late at night. Started calorie counting. I walked a lot at work anyways but I got a little step counter to help motivate myself to reach 10k steps a day.
Soon I started going to the gym 3 times a week. I was terrified of going to the gym because I wasn’t fit and didn’t know how to use the machines. I started out with the elliptical 30 mins and slowly started increasing the elevation and resistance. After I got that routine down I started to incorporate weights.
I am currently doing a boot camp 3 days a week and on the other days going to the gym and doing my own thing and Zumba for fun.
My fiancΓ© and I ride our bikes to dinner for extra exercise and also it’s fun.
We are getting married 10-4-15!!!! I have 19 lbs to go!!!!!

Can’t wait to marry my best friend
