Email submission

This blog has helped me stay motivated more times than I can count, so it was always my goal to submit a picture once I got close to where I wanted to be. There’s about a 14 month and 30-lb difference between the two pictures. On the left I’m 196 and on the right I’m 167.

I used myfitnesspal to track calories…at first 1500 a day, then when I plateaued I slashed carbs a couple days a week for a while. I work out 5-6 days a week. At first all I did was lift 4 days a week and do two days of cardio, but the results weren’t coming as fast as I’d hoped, so I recently started doing cardio at the end of my lifts. I have a young son at home, and the only way I can get it all in is by waking up at 4:30am. It sucks and never gets easier, but seeing my progress makes it all worth it.

My goal is to keep losing bodyfat until Sept. 1 when I will begin a lean bulk to add more muscle.

The best advice I can give is to hold strong because it takes a LOOOOONG time. So long, in fact, that you’ll think nothing is happening. But don’t give up. If you’re doing what you’re supposed to be doing, and modifying as necessary, it WILL happen!
