Start weight 199lbs, current weight 147lbs, taken around 1 year and still about 20 lbs to go.
I am 46, so a bit older than most of the motiveweighters but the site has kept me on track more times than I can count,especially in the early days. Hopefully I can help someone else, so my message is just to stick at it. Don’t give up when the scales don’t move,or you have a bad day,or you have skipped your workout for 6 days in a row. Everyone who has lost weight has had days like these but they just woke up to a new day and started again.
My other message for anyone who feels like it is going to be too hard is that it doesn’t have to be kettle bell squats and hardcore paleo. Sticking to around 1400 calories and 20000 steps a day works for me. Find what works for you and stick with it. And good luck going forward.
