So. Let me tell you about the outfit on the right. All my life I wanted to wear something like it. When I was a teenager and belly shirts were all the rage, I wished with all my heart that I could wear some. I wished I had a body that was small enough to fit into something like that. But I never did.
It took me years to get to this point. And I’m not talking about the weight loss. I’m talking about the confidence. YEARS. to finally feel good enough. Years full of ups and downs and weight loss and weight gain and tears and sweat and fire in my heart. But I did it!
I wore that outfit for my birthday. I rocked it! It was so out of my comfort zone and at first I was so uncomfortable, but I did it. I.DID.THAT. And it felt amazing.
This was a huge goal for me. And I accomplished it. So my message to you today: if you have a goal, work for it. You might not get there the first time, the second or even a dozen tries later. But do it. Put in the work. Work on yourself, for yourself. And if it’s a goal that’s worth something to you, it will feel so so good when you finally get what you want.
