It’s month 8 and I’ve lost a total of 151 pounds! This month I only lost 11 pounds, down from 233 to 222. I went back to some old habits this month which slowed my weight loss down. 😯 I have picked back up on my weight lifting the past week or so, so I’m hoping I see the effects next month. I’ll be participating in the Texans The Running of the Bulls 5k run/walk next weekend. It will be my first running event that I’ve ever participated in so I’m looking forward to that. I think it’s time to change up my workout this month and start pushing my limits a little more. I think I’ve gotten bored with my walks and need more inspiration and motivation to get off my butt! The 5k should give me a nice start. Well, even though I slipped into some old habits I have to stay positive and focus on what I did accomplish and improve from there. On to next month!
