6 months ago I started my journey Beachbody and Shakeology, I have lost 25 lbs total and 42 inches total!! And what I have gained is so much more!
I committed to my first challenge group with the intent of I would give this a try, I hoped it would work, I needed it to work, I needed to make changes , develop healthy habits that were going to last. I was over the gimmicks and quick fixes, I needed a permanent program that was realistic and something I could stick with.
To say I had no reservations with it would be lying, I wasn’t sure I would like the Shakeology or having to drink it everyday, I had tried shakes in the past and they weren’t a good fit for me, mainly due to some digestive issues I have. And an at homework that was only 30 min a day sounded great in theory but I was afraid it wouldn’t be effective, most people I knew who were all super fit logged lots of hours at a gym each week, so how can you get a full body workout in 30 min.
By week 2 of my first challenge group, I was absolutely hooked, you could even say I was obsessed! I haven’t looked back not once, I haven’t questioned why I do this or if this is for me. I have committed each month to a challenge group.
I have made some pretty great friends during this process and have become a part of an amazing team! And I am so happy to have the chance to share this journey with others and help them get started on their journey.
Our next group is starting soon Oct 31, and I’m looking for some peeps to join me. Are you ready to start? Are you tired of the gimmicks and over the quick fixes? I know we live in a world where we want instant gratification, but when it comes to your health quick doesn’t always equal better. It’s more important to be consistent and live an 80/20 lifestyle than a complete restrictive one.
