80 pounds gone naturally in 15 months done with hard work, researching, consistency and patience. I’ve maintained my weight loss for over 3 years.

Some keys to my success:

- Slow and steady weight loss while making small sustainable changes
- Planning & tracking meals in my food journal (I didn’t cut any foods out, just watched my portion sizes)
- Eating larger meals less frequently and no snacking.
- Brisk walking daily (3+ miles) and lifting weights 3 - 4 days a week

I’m the smallest I’ve ever been as an adult and I’m rocking it heading into my 40’s! Don’t use age as an excuse. You can do anything if you want it bad enough…

I remember this dress being so tight I couldn’t even pull it down or zip it up all the way. This dress is still a bit tight on me, mainly in the upper back area. That seems to be where my fat distributes the most and I’m not really sure why. It kind of makes my body look weird and not proportionate. Still have to work on that for sure.
Also, I tried on a ton of clothes I used to wear in late middle school and early high school and majority of my larges and mediums completely fit! Considering it was 5/6 years ago since I properly wore any of them and I’m normally a XXL, it’s a big deal! ✧

It’s definitely not as big a loss as some of the guys and girls here, but I’m still proud of it! 22.5lbs later, I feel a lot better and more confident in my own skin! It took 6 months because I’m terrible at sticking to diets (and I refuse to give up chocolate). For me, the best way to lose weight was to find an exercise you’re passionate about. I love to dance, so my weekly routine consists of a tap class, jazz class and Zumba! It is mostly cardio but classes like jazz and ballet will definitely help with muscle strengthening- it doesn’t always have to involve dumbbells!

Also apologies for my messy hair and face haha!

Starting weight: 155lbs
End weight: 132.5lbs

No, I haven’t hit goal yet (I’m still fluctuating between 1-5 pounds on top of it… so frustrating to be so close for so long, heh), but that hasn’t stopped me from celebrating how far I’ve come. Alright everyone today is the 28 day of #PITT28 round 5. The last day of piit for this month. I forgot to post a before and after last month. My journey has been very bumpy since I started my journey to be healthier. I couldn’t be happier with @blogilates piit28 program. I love both 1.0 and 2.0 of piit28!!! I have been up and down through this, i have cried, yelled, and pouted. But I am surrounded by amazing people of the piit/blogilates community and have amazing friends and family who have stuck by me and helped me when I needed it. I struggle with self image issues and I don’t have the best relationship with food. I hate it and love it all at the same time. It’s not like the way some struggle with food but it’s still a struggle. I struggle with myself because I hate my body and hate how I let myself go so now it has a LOT of healing to do. But through my journey I have learned to love my body and accept it. I still struggle but my husband reminds me I am beautiful no matter what and my body is still healing from being over weight and unhealthy. He reminds me that it all takes time! I want to thank Cassey for this program because it has helped me a lot. Highest was 15st 3lbs (213lbs)

Lowest was 11st 3lbs (157lbs)

I’m currently 13st 8lbs (190lbs)

Yes I slipped and yes it upset me and still does; but I’m ready to start again and try harder, to walk every day if I can, to join the gym and go a few times a week, and to work on my diet.
