Why Activity Trackers Could Be Running Out Of Steps

Why Activity Trackers Could Be Running Out Of Steps

A tiny chip in the iPhone automatically and accurately tracks your fitness — no wearable needed. That could mean trouble for Fitbit and Jawbone.

i havent put together pictures in a while and when i put these two together this morning it kinda blew my mind…. like its really hard to believe that i was the person on the left just one year ago. i’ve honestly never felt better. and whenever i do feel like just going back into my old ways pictures like this help keep me on track. its a slow process but i am really loving every minute of it :)

Left I was 252 lbs and this was July 2014. Right I was 198 lbs and it was early February 2015. I’m 195 now. I guess I’m kinda okay with the weightloss so far but I’m just not satisfied at all. I’m aiming for 70 more lbs at LEAST. Can’t wait :)

Oregon considers banning most vaccine exemptions

If the bill passes, Oregon would join Mississippi and West Virginia as the only states allowing exemptions solely for medical reasons, and no longer for religious, philosophical or personal reasons. Washington, California, and Vermont are considering similar bills that remove either the personal, religious or philosophical exemptions.

Having a moment ~again~ thinking about how stoked I am. Never in a million years did I think I could achieve what I have so far regarding my weight. It’s ALWAYS been a struggle for me. Alwayssssss. So to finally be able to say I’m getting it under control is crazy. Even though I say it all the time, I don’t think I could ever express how insanely grateful I am for @centralcoastbarbell. Seriously. Having the opportunity to train with Luke has been the best thing I’ve ever done. He knows his shit and is 100% hands down the best dude ever. If any of my friends have been contemplating starting training, DO ITTTTTT. You won’t regret it. #weightloss #pcos #insulinresistance

A little transformation for your day

crossfitkarla:It’s always interesting when you stop focusing on...

crossfitkarla:

It’s always interesting when you stop focusing on “diet” and lack of everything that you think you aren’t and embrace who you are in every aspect and become GRATEFUL for how Amazing your body is. To be GRATEFUL I am able bodied. To be GRATEFUL for every freckle and strand of red hair that took me years to learn to love. To be GRATEFUL for perfect 20/20 vision, to be able to hear, smell and feel. To be strong when people can’t do something they ask me because they know my body can. To be GRATEFUL have beautiful porcelain skin that I tried for years to cover with fake tan. I am GRATEFUL for my grandmothers spectacular green eyes that every time I look in the mirror I see her looking back at me. For the first time in almost 30 years I can actually say I love myself and I am grateful for the housing of my soul. In this process of being my authentic self and embracing every aspect of who i am and saying no to things that don’t nourish my soul I am dropping weight so quickly without even trying. The issues and the walls I had created in my armor exterior and my issues on the inside manifesting on the outside. I embrace every part of who I am and encourage every body to do the same it is the most up lifting liberating experience of my life. 9kg/20pounds of weight of guilt shame and self hate gone.

Although it doesn’t look like much it’s a lot to me. Weight loss definitely takes time and dedication. If you’re really serious about weight loss my advice to you is to stick with it, even on the tough days. Even on the days you feel like giving up just remember why you started. You’re on the path towards a better you.

So these are my before and “during” pictures (because I still have a long way to go), I just wanted to share this because I want everyone to know that I know what it’s like to be going through the weight loss process. I know what struggles that we deal with each and every day and I invite everyone to share this journey with me. This picture took some courage, and I’m still not too sure about this right now, but I feel it’s important, if you are going to be following me, to know that I’m a real person with real body image issues who’s going through the same things you’re going through. I’m just here to talk about what’s working for me.

Xoxo,

Bibi
