Weight-loss or toning up wasn’t a huge goal for me when I started running but I’m so happy with the changes over 9 months between these two pics. I do feel a lot healthier (though I wasn’t an “unhealthy” weight - just had some unhealthy habits like takeaways instead of cooking, choc bars for energy and alcohol several times some weeks). I’d been advised by several (mainly well-meaning) people that I should loose weight “before my metabolism slowed down” or because “I’d be really pretty” for about a year before I actually did. The point being it wasn’t until I wanted to and found a healthy way by doing something that I loved that I actually did.
