Second progress photo of the day, just to see how far I’ve come. It doesn’t look too different but it’s about 20 pounds and it’s been a roller coaster ride. 160 lbs versus 140ish
Another picture of my progress- First taken on Summer of 2012, second one at the end of 2014:)
Before- 167lbs
After-124lbs
Height- 5’7
Working out, eating well and being happy are all key for it.
For ANY questions, feel free to ask- anything!
It’s all possible, and I’m here to help:3
Height: 5”8 (1.75m)
SW: 298.7lbs/ 135.5kg

Its been almost two years now. I refused to starve myself or work out much. Which recently changed, well the work out thing not starving myself. I eat better, I eat clean, I eat healthy. I do weights three times a week and two times cardio. I started loving it.
Thanks a bunch, you’re sweet. :)
That’s great you want to change your life and try losing weight. There are a few things you should consider. 1) You have to know that it takes time, and you have to accept that things won’t change overnight. 2) Don’t cut out a bunch of things from your diet, that will only drive you to quit. Instead, replace certain foods with other foods. (Example: instead of buying “regular” peanut butter, start buying natural peanut butter). 3) Find a form of exercise that you like, or else working out will feel like a chore and you’re more likely to quit. For example: if you don’t like running, don’t run . Try biking instead.
And keep it healthy, of course.
Hope this helps! Thanks again!
My stomach has always been one of my biggest issues. Even with the weight I’ve lost I’m still self concious in sooo many styles of shirts. BUT it’s something I acknowledge and am slowly working on mentally. As long as I’m moving forward, physically and emotionally, I’m winning (even if it feels like it’s at a snail’s pace sometimes) 😊 #weightloss #50lbsdown #formerfatkid #transformation #motivation #progress #beforeandduring #sidebyside #pretty_fitness #keepgoing #youreworthit #femalefitness #goals #staypositive #abs #weightlosstransformation #weightlossjourney #weightlossbeforeandafter #fitsperation #fitspo
Face progress! Same happy Hawaiian flower girl, with a little less pudge on the cheeks (thank gosh) I feel a lot better about myself now
This is one of my fave picture sets of myself. In 2007 I lost over 70 pounds using Phentermine. I didn’t exercise or anything. My only concern was with the number on the scale. My diet was terrible. There were days when the only thing I ate was a bagel. The pills took my appetite. They also caused severe mood swings, my hair started falling out, I was super jittery, and they made my heart race. I had no real muscle on my body and I became skinny fat. _____________________________________ Once I stopped taking the pills, I slowly started to gain weight. While I was pregnant it started to pile on and after my grandmother’s death, I reached my all time high of 261 pounds on my 5’ 4.75” (official height from the doctor 😄) frame. _____________________________________ This summer I developed a healthy relationship with food and learned the benefits of regular exercise. I fell in love with the idea of losing fat, building muscle, and getting stronger. Strength training and cardio are a regular part of my life and I am in the best shape of my life. I am so glad it finally clicked for me and I am seeing results. My lifestyle changed and because of that, I am OK with calling this a transformation.
I can’t believe I’m posting this on here!
A recent anon asked about my weight loss, so I figured I’d post about it publicly.Back in 2012, I weighed in at approximately 285 pounds. I was extremely unhappy and unhealthy. So, I decided to do something about it! I didn’t go on some gimmicky diet like Weight Watchers or Dr Bernstein, (not like they won’t work, they just weren’t for me) but I did completely change my eating habits. I cut out as much salt from my diet as I could, same with sugar and starchy foods. I limited my dairy intake, and drastically cut down my portion sizes.
I worked out every single day. For me, the treadmill was it! For 45 minutes a day, I would speed-walk on a steep incline, carrying a 30lb body bar.
From February 3rd 2012 - July 3rd 2012, I lost 80 pounds. Since then, my total weight loss has reached 125 pounds. For the first time in my life, I am happy with the way I look, and feel. I don’t live my life around food anymore, and it’s an amazing feeling! I enjoy eating healthy now, and I can have treats and not feel guilty. It’s all about portion control and moderation!
Anyone out there can do what I’ve done. Trust me! I was someone that had many failed attempts under their belt…
Top: February 2012 - 182lbs
Bottom: November 2014 - 131lbs
From dress size 14/16 to 8/10.
Am I allowed to love my legs now? Like look how much fat was covering just my knees! That’s insane to me.
Hiiii.
My name is Petra.
I am 22 yo.
I am 168cm tall and my start weight was about 207lbs.
I loosed about 68lbs. In a year.
Yeah.
Impossible is nothing. Trust me.
You can ask me anything you want to on my tumblr page
Anybody ever do this little pose on the right and think, “one day I’m going to love how I look when I do this?”. Lol. Maybe it’s just me…. But it was somewhat of a mini goal of mine. #progress

It’s hard to believe that I began my fitness journey almost three years ago. What started out as an obsession with a number on a scale has developed into a never ending process of just loving myself. My results were not immediate, they fluctuated constantly, and sometimes it’s difficult for me to see them at all. In addition, I’ve fallen off the fitness wagon multiple times.
But I’m still here — and I’m not finished yet.
Reminder to myself that I’m doing an excellent job even if somedays I don’t feel like I’ve made any progress at all.
Throwback to 6 years ago when I was 250lbs. Healthy eating and exercise got me to this point and even after having a baby I was able to keep the weight off. Still have some work to do but I’m happy how far I’ve come.
Sorry I just love progress pics to keep me motivated. This is the difference of a month 😊 not dramatic difference but a slow difference is better than nothing! Can’t wait to see where 12 weeks of BBG gets me
Look! My jeans fit!?! #wipwednesday #workinprogresswednesday
