Quick Reminder- only you have the power to choose who and what you will be. Me? Well just to name a few.. I chose to be strong. I chose to be a (certified!) yoga teacher. I chose to be a wife. I chose to be a dedicated cook and to be a vegetarian and to be active and fit despite all the injuries working against me. I chose to be happy and to be positive and to be organized and so many more that make up who I am today. But all of it started with the day I actively chose to be healthy.

Too late for a #ThrowbackThursday? Need to wear orange and black to work for Halloween today. The only shirt I have is one from my “former life” of being large and not so in charge of my life. 10 months later I’m swimming in it and looking and feeling healthier than ever.

#throwbackthursday to -35 pounds. i was so in love with that bathing suit. it was my first XL bathing suit in years, not to mention that it was pink & that was a “girly” color in my eyes at the time. not as in only girls could wear it, more as in only pretty girls could wear it, and i never could see myself that way. i felt pretty in it that August. now at 100 pounds down, i feel great, but man…these last 16 cant come off fast enough!

I take it one day at a time. Knowing that tomorrow I am one step closer than I was today is motivation enough.
First two a day today!!! Elliptical for 30 n them Bootcamp for 30. I’m hoping adding in weights will keep me goin! Happy I can see a diff in these 8 lbs!

I was torturing myself with looking at pictures of how skinny I was at this point last year (bottom), and then I stumbled on this picture from my junior year of high school (top). So even though I don’t look like the bottom picture anymore, I should still be proud of myself for how far I’ve come. So yeah. Just a little transformation to share I guess.
