The top pics were shots I took for my coach to get a better understanding of my body type. I was fluctuating between 154-152 lbs. I just started lifting consistently that summer and was continuing my bodybuilding program and loosely counted macros. I was squatting 215 (questionable depth), benching 110 (no pause), deadlifting 205.
The bottom pics were taken this morning after I weighed in and before breakfast. I weighed in at 141.5 lbs. I’m currently on a powerlifting program and am reverse dieting my way into ~2500 cals.I have a 243 squat, 125 bench, and 265 deadlift.
Powerlifting’s been one hell of a ride, but I’m so grateful for everything I’ve learned and achieved these past 9 months. I’m honestly surprised that I committed 100% to counting macros and training. Commitment is such a scary concept to me, but I figured iron wouldn’t hurt me. Training and counting constantly was hard and no doubt took its toll on me, but it’s shaped me into who I am now. Training has taught me so many life lessons and I’m so much more at peace with myself. I’m so thankful that I did this for myself.
