GW: 135April 1st 2014 I started my weight loss journey.
By April 2015 I lost around 80/90 pounds
Within the last year and a half I I’ve been struggling with finding a healthy balance between my career, healthy lifestyle, and social life. I’m a hairstylist who works over 60+ hours a week, who sometimes doesn’t have a break to eat, and when I’m off I’m constantly promoting myself, while maintaining friendships, and while building up myself I lost way of the healthy lifestyle I built for myself. I was developing old habits once again with eating healthy a couple times a week and eating bad the rest, I stopped going to the gym, I grew comfortable and lost track of my end goal. Around January 2016 I noticed I put on 30lbs and my clothes weren’t fitting, I wasn’t wearing crop tops anymore, I felt tired and didn’t have as much energy, and I just wasn’t happy.
I looked back on where I started and vowed to myself I would never go back there, so I picked myself up and moved forward. I’m happy to say I have now officially lost what I’ve gained back and continuing to reach my goals. I’m human, I still struggle, I still enjoy life, and I still love pizza. BUT I’m finally finding a happy balance between the 3 most important things in my life. My health, career, and friendships. It’s important to remember even when you back slide you can always pick yourself back up, and never forget your end goal. 😘
