I’m still a bit scared to share this with people, but I want to inspire others to change their lives like I did with mine. In high school, I weighed over 400 pounds. I could barely fit in desks and I would often be worn out from walking up steps.
When I started college, i began the path I’m on now. I began to change my diet and started to regularly exercise. At first it was simple switches with my food because I still craved high calorie and fatty foods. I credit the book “eat this, not that” with a lot of my early progress.
My exercising routine varied throughout the years. Sports was always a giant part of my exercise because I never felt like I was exercising, it was just having fun with friends. Over time, I began to see the benefits and fun in cardio at the gym. I credit using an interval program on the treadmill for my weight loss as well.
As of today, I weigh 205 with a decent amount of muscle. It has been a long ride but it’s been worth every second of it.
