This is my before and during:

Start weight: 212

Current Weight: 188 as of June

Goal Weight: 125

I am 5'2 and 23 years old. At the beginning of 2015 I decided my New Year’s Resolution would be to finally drop the weight I had been gaining since high school. This is the difference just 24 pounds can make! I’m no where near my goal however I don’t plan on stopping til I get there; and I happened to be very proud of how far I’ve already come.

I had SO MANY ups and downs just in this short time period! You’ll never be perfect but you always have to forgive your mistakes and get back on track because the good days will out weigh the bad days and YOU WILL SEE PROGRESS. This is the longest I’ve kept up trying to lose weight and I feel so amazing that I actually built up the courage to share these photos!

In January I had really bad knee pain and could barely walk up the little bit of stairs I have in my house without being out of breath and heart pounding. I felt sloppy and hated my body for not being able to do what I wanted. I could eat a whole pizza in one sitting and still be hungry! 2 whole chipotle bowls with chips and everything and 1 hour later be super hungry. I knew what I was putting my body through was wrong and it was letting me know by not allowing me to function without pain or becoming winded.

I had my depressed days where I would look at other people’s before and after photos and think; wow she is so lucky, I’ll never get there. Even now with all my progress it gets hard not to think; ugh, dang it I’m still THIS FAT? but you have to focus on the progress and I don’t mean just the scale. Focus on how you feel, or how your body is changing and responding everyday. That’s the real progress because looking great is just a benefit; feeling great and proud to be in your skin is the real win!

What I eat: ANYTHING! but I eat in moderation instead of eating whatever in sight!

My workouts: I try to do anything for a least an hour thats gonna make me sweat! I just try to GET MOVING any way I can! So no boring workout videos everyday, and no boring gym routine everyday!
