This is me a month and a half apart, 214lbs vs 195lbs. Besides the obvious weight difference, the person on the right is happier, stronger and more confident. I’m learning to focus on the non-scale victories because relying on the scale can be so disappointing.


How am I doing it? Following a low carb diet, drinking tons of water, working out 4x a week (couch25k, weight training, kettlebell, yoga). My ultimate goal weight is unknown since I have no memory of being under 190lbs, I just want a strong healthy heart and even more importantly, a healthy respect for myself. I am work in progress. And so are you!
