I think there’s close to a 2-3 year difference between these two photos. I am astonished, because I can barely remember that girl anymore. All I have left of her is some of the negativity about my body. However, I’ve decided this year to love myself no matter what, and to love myself more and more with each passing day. This body has accomplished things I never thought possible, and I cannot wait to see what it does next. There are of course things I want to change even now, but I am thankful for how far I’ve come. Honestly, the journey has been the best part. I think in the end, I’ll appreciate it more than the final outcome. “I love who I’ve become because I fought to become her!”
