New Year’s Eve 2014 vs 2015. A lot can happen in a year :)
I normally wouldn’t post something like this on Facebook, but in the spirit of the new year and inspiring others to make a healthy start, I thought why not? It’s something that’s easy to post here, but big and scary to post to people who know me IRL.
This is me pre-Crossfit (5/2006), pre-Zone (7/2013), and now. So many people know me now and don’t realize that everyone has a starting point. I started CrossFit in 2012 and didn’t change my nutrition. In March 2013, inspired by a friend, I started the Paleo diet. In December of 2013 I started the Zone Diet and saw my fitness and energy levels improve. Paleo alone wasn’t enough to make a difference to me. It cleaned up my eating, but there are no boundaries; no guidelines.
I have never in my life felt stronger or healthier. It’s not always about how you look - but about how you feel and what you can accomplish. I want to be strong for my whole life, and that starts and continues now.
We are doing a Paleo/Zone Challenge at our gym, and I honestly feel like we could change some people’s lives if they let us 😉.

Lost a lot of fat in my belly, thighs and arms. Going in to 2015 fitter and happier than ever before. Happy New Year everyone!
